Good looking chairs, and appear well made. Unfortunately I found the seats a little narrow and the arm rests to high for me. Sadly I've had to return them. (The returns process was extremely easy to do, so great customer service.) I'm sure the chairs will be perfect for someone else.. Christine. Bristol, GB. Sat May 30 2026

Eucalyptus is one of the most robust wood types, with properties similar to teak. This furniture does not require any special care and is weatherproof. It is advised to use standard caring oil for solid wood in order to keep the original colour as long as possible. Otherwise, the furniture may take on a grey tone over time, which is preferred by some people. For extra comfort, the chairs' backrests can be adjusted to eight different positions and can be folded when not in use so they do not take up too much storage space. The set is being delivered fully mounted.

Bought 3 sets to replace existing garden dining chairs that have served us well for 15 years. The Peony chairs as not as robust as the ones being replaced (but what is these days) though were considered to be acceptable quality for the price paid with the added benefit that they were already pre-assembled unlike chairs available from others at a similar cost. Delivery arrived before the estimated delivery date even though they were coming from Germany; the products were well packaged in heavy duty cardboard boxes with no damage during transit. The quality and finish of the chairs is good and there are no issues with poor quality finishing or staining as sone reviewers have reported. Hopefully these Peony chairs will give many years of good service. One slight irritation was that two weeks after we bought the the chairs the price was reduced by £30 per set . John. This solid folding chair has a dark green powder-coated flat steel frame and Robinia slats. For the sake of the environment: Only real Robinia wood is used. The wood comes from European forests and not from tropical rainforest areas. It has almost the same properties as tropical woods (e.g. teak). The frame of the Dracen collection is made of solid flat steel. This is powder-coated in the colour moss green (RAL 6005). Plastic floor protectors are mounted on the base plates. The processed Robinia hardwood is extremely weather-resistant. Except for occasional re-oiling, it does not require any special care. The slats are attached with continuous screws, ensuring maximum strength, just like classic beer garden furniture.
