I have unpacked the boxes of my 6x9 poppy greenhouse. I now am going to seal the wood with Once-Seal wood sealer and then assemble. Kicking off our summer with this amazing Palisade outdoor bar was the best choice ever! I bought this for my husband who loves to entertain but hates being outside. Previously purchased a SunJoy gazebo, wood starting splitting and joint came unglued after about a year. Just put this Backyard Discovery gazebo together this weekend, found all the parts were in their packages. Instructions at first are daunting but once you get started it’s not so bad just a lot of steps. Took about 2 days, and we took our time. Luckily my husband has his own tools so we didn’t use any of the included tools. Seems very sturdy and well made. I liked that all parts are bolted or screwed together, not glued. As an assembly it is very good. The watch outs are the base and roof. The base, the joists are off centre meaning if you put noggings in they’re all different sizes. The roof is decent enough but again odd amounts of overhang from the misaligned joists, the structure is solid enough, however I have reinforced the floor and roof with 18mmOSB which has firmed it up significantly. I needed extra storage space because my garage was packed full and I could not get to my tools without rearranging everything. This is a big shed and has more than enough room for my needs. I put it together with just my wife for help (didn’t need a lot) and except for a couple of small problems, it went together fairly smoothly. Glad I watched the online video of building it before I started. It is anchored to a concrete pad and is surprisingly sturdy. With the skylights and windows it is very bright inside.
