I have an older, larger breed dog and with 2 younger, smaller dogs, she was finding it hard to keep up with their energetic pace. Very good for freedom and movement for the birds. A small cage is not suitable for any bird unless you let them out for exercise as I intend to as well. I am very pleased with the quality of the cage and colour (Hate black stuff and avoiding where possible).
