As described, images were true to product received. Looks good with quite a realistic slate effect and a relaxing water flow though it’s a very quiet sound. This garden stone is the perfect addition to your garden. Ideal dressing around water features, borders and planting, these stones have a smooth surface and range in size from approx. 5-10cm, however, as they are a natural product this can vary. It will look black when wet and a dusky grey colour when dry. Approx coverage per 20kg bag: 0.5m2. There will be variations in colour, pattern, texture and veining. These differences are part of the beauty of the stone.

These are excellent quality stones, and arrived well before the stated delivery date. They look shiny black when wet and more of a dark grey when dry. They are much bigger than I thought, and have therefore not covered the area I want, so have had to buy another two bags. Overall this is a lovely & really nice water feature. I took off a star as the plug is massive meaning i cant use it on my outdoor plug to keep the cover down when it's raining. It would of also been nice to have enough stones to cover all the base for the price. I would of liked the water to be a little louder as cant always hear it with noise road or neighbours. Very pretty and well built, but would be better if the inlet on the bottom was at the back instead of vertical and centered. It makes it hard to plumb. There is no good image of the inlet and no documentation here so it was hard to tell before it arrived, but it is centered on the bottom and big, so there is minimal space between the front edge of the box and the inlet. I’m so disappointed in the I have a beautifully finished landscaped garden with a lovely fountain but it’s not wired up as I’m waiting for the electrician to return.
