The Gazebo is that perfect spot to while away those summer days or as emergency shelter during a BBQ! This arbour is a slightly offset hexagonally shaped building, please see the plan drawing for dimensions. It is manufactured from high grade, slow grown, FSC northern European pine. The roof and walls are 12 mm shiplap with a 19 mm timber floor; all framing is 34 mm square. The arbour is dip treated with a base coat of timber preservative ready for you to top coat with a wood paint or wood stain.

With its Eastern influence, the Rowlinson Jaipur Arbour will make a stunning edition to any garden that will quickly become a favourite spot to sit and enjoy.

Wood is green in a lot of places so clearly been stored in a damp place before delivery. Most of the screws were rusty too. You’re stuffed if you don’t have a drill because no holes are pre drilled so you have to drill the holes to fix it together. To be fair I suppose once finally finished then it’s nice too look at and comfortable to sit on. Will need to be painted at some point I think though. Was delivered within a few days.. Helena. The Windsor arch is easy to put together, well made and comes with an integral gate that opens in as well as out. Measuring 214cm high, the arch has flat feet that can either be buried in the ground or pegged into place (there are 15cm pegs included for this).The gate measures 116.5cm high by 90cm wide and has a simple slot and close latch to keep it shut when required.

I bought this arbour to replace my old one, which had rotted due to the difficulty of repainting all the fiddly bits. This one looks really good and was very easy to paint I altered the layout when assembling so that the side panels had the smooth sides facing out so that the rain would run off easier instead of sitting on the little ledges, and it was easier to paint. The only downside with the quality was that there were a few places where the nails had come through or missed the struts when the arbour was made at the factory and one or two splinters, and bad nail gunning. I painted all the parts prior to assembling (and after) which made it easier to get into all the little splinters and rough bits, and also there could have been a few edging strips to hide and protect the edges where back and front panels met, and the diamond at the back could have done with a decorative strip to hide the nails. HOWEVER Overall for the money it is good value. I am making a couple of ledges for the side windows to hold a cup and it will also hide/protect the edges of the panels.. Vivienne.
