Plastic Garden Edging Troughs

This super-strong, steel raised bed can be set up in any one of six shapes. The chic modular planter provides a modern and stylish take on galvanised trough planters. Made from extremely durable Zincalume® steel with Colourbond coating so it lasts up to four times longer than regular galvanised steel. Choose the shape that suits your needs: as a long, narrow bed, as a traditional square bed, or one of two rectangular shapes. At 38-39cm high (bed height may vary +/-50mm), it’s suitable for all types of vegetables, herbs and flowers and minimises bending and stooping when you’re planting or weeding. We recommend placing the bottom edge of the bed in a layer of 10-20mm gravel. This allows excellent drainage and protects the bottom edge of the bed. Placing on level ground is also advised. No liner is required. Flat packed for home assembly, the no-tools-assembly kit includes hardware plus plastic protective edging for the top edge.

Look good when built, clear easy to follow instructions, decided on 2 lower planters instead of 1 high. Quality of the steel could have been better as very thin and bends easily. Linda. East Tilbury Tilbury, GB. Sat Aug 22 2026

Bought two of these raised beds metal planter boxes. The only negative is the construction as the instructions are a little vague. However 60 odd bolts and nuts later they’re in place. One will be planted with sweet peas the other with carrots and spring onions.. Chris Perkins. Abergele. Sat Aug 08 2026

Great edging for where I needed it to go ,a perfect addition to the bottom of any fence that shows a gap along the bottom that doesn'tlook nice,The stake parts not the strongest of plastics but does the job, best to soak ground if not soft so easily ,Also make sure to check all boxes as soon as get,as had one box damaged/dented ,so a few were split and broken as poorly handled as no packing inside the boxes, they are a sturdy plastic, with a bit of give to shape,It is the brick effect of them that makes look nice ,plenty to do a decent sized garden in 2boxes ,just waiting for replacements to finish ..very pleased with purchase regardless...
