This gate is a life saver (more of a time savor and stress reducer). I wanted a simple gate to keep my dogs from running out when my children left the door open too long or my family came over, forgetting that I had dogs. This door went above my expectations. I love the design of it and how it goes so well with the flow. The extra height is great for larger pets or pets that can jump HIGH (like my 2 smalltiny dogs), and that provides me peace of mind. Its a minimalist design that is both functional and stylish. The assembly was relatively straightforward, although I did encounter a small issue. One of the wall-mounted pieces was missing, so I couldnt secure the gate to the wall as intended. The rest of the parts were easy to put together, and the instructions were clear. (However, the part about not removing the ziptie was not in the instructions. I later saw it in the picture). It took me about 20 minutes to assemble and attach it to my door. The gate feels sturdy and well-made overall. The acrylic panels are quite strong and dont seem like they would easily crack or break under normal use. My dog in the picture does not go to the door, and he just sits there close by it. My other dog will run and jump on it scratching it, trying to get out and it hasnt fell even with it to being properly secure to the walls of the door frame (he is a tiny yorkie. I cant make any promises for bigger dogs). It was midnight when I put this together, so the gate door opens opposite the front door, but I can easily swap it later. I bought a Tutti Bambini play mat and overall I’d say it’s a really solid choice, especially if you want something that looks nice in your home as well as being practical for a baby. The first thing I noticed was the quality. It feels well-made and has a decent amount of cushioning, which is great for tummy time and when babies start rolling and crawling. It’s comfortable enough that I can sit on it with my baby without feeling the hard floor underneath, which makes a big difference during longer play sessions. One of the biggest advantages is how easy it is to clean. The surface is wipeable, so any spills, milk, or mess can be sorted in seconds. That alone makes it much more convenient than fabric mats, which tend to absorb everything and need frequent washing. I also really like the design. Unlike a lot of baby products, it doesn’t look overly bright or plastic-y. The neutral, modern patterns mean it blends in well with the rest of the room, and in some cases it can even replace a rug. That said, it’s not perfect. The price is definitely on the higher side compared to basic play mats, so it might not be worth it if you’re on a tight budget.. Beth. Sittingbourne, GB.
