Takes quite a while to put together but a lot of furniture so to be expected I guess. 1 man delivery for an item delivered in many boxes clearly marked 2 man lift - dont expect delivery any further than driveway if in a house. Our son loves his bed, and it genuinely seems to be a solidly made bed with tons of desk top, shelves and drawer space. That said, it is a bear to put together. At some points three people were needed, and the instructions, while likely as clear as they could be, were still difficult to follow at times, especially at the beginning. It is a lovely looking bed and rather sturdy. Putting together was ok, a couple of bits were confusing, but worked it out in the end. Instructions at first looked daunting, but once I got started it wasn’t too bad. You can’t use an electric screwdriver on most of it, so a bit of muscle power is needed, as some places where the screw goes in doesn’t have hole , which did confuse me, but it all turned out good.
