THIS IS AN ICE CUBE MAKER and not a snow cone maker. I've been looking for an ice machine that makes solid cubes and not just the bullet ones. Finally found this one and it works perfectly. Takes a while longer to make the cubes but they are solid and work much better in a nice Gin and Tonic. Totally recommend it if you find the small bullet ice cubes melt too fast.. John. Watford. It’s that silver thing in the corner near the window, but it saved our holiday spread by keeping the main dish warm. I was going to give it 3 stars but I have used it a bit more and find the unit works very well for items like 'sauteing' cherry tomatoes in a drop or two of olive oil as well as a quick toasting of the wide sourdough bread slices. I put 1 or 2 dishes on top of it so plates get warm. Controls are clear. The door on the old toaster oven [ I still have ] is connected to the grill pan so it came out when the door was lowered, making removing hot food a lot easier.
