We were very pleased with the product as far as its sturdiness, but not as much with the problem we had when it arrived! One of the end cap covers on the handrail was missing , so it has left this area wide open to be able to see inside of the handle! This is a real problem ,not only for it’s unfinished look, but moreso for the threat of bees nesting inside of it, causing the possibility of being stung and it’s safety issue ! The post is electro-galvanized for added rust resistance and powder-coated black. The post is blank without any holes drilled to allow the fitter to best position the fence panel to suit the application, on-site drilling is required. Bolt-down bolts are not included. It is not advisable to use bolt-down posts for gates because the turning motion of the gate will loosen the post out of the ground. Gates should ideally use concrete-in posts.
