Great bench perfect for any size garden. Storage part is not waterproof, but is a handy storage area. I have kept a waterproof bag in mine so that I can keep blankets etc in. So easy to put together, two of us put it together just so one could stabilise while the other screwed it together but could be put together with one person. Great storage box because it is so long. It was really difficult to find one for my long recliner garden chair cushions. Durable, weather resistant and UV protected, the Stone Grey weave retains all the aesthetic qualities of natural materials, as is true of all our synthetic woven products. To keep your cushions in tip top condition whilst in storage we recommend using a cushion bag inside the cushion box as added protection from any residual moisture or condensation from damp cushions.

Delivered on time but a little disappointed with the colour as slightly darker grey than in the picture. Took me about an hour and a half to put together as one of the holes just slightly off so had to keep loosening other screws around it to eventually get them all in. Once put together looks and feels very sturdy. Please check every part for breaks in the rattan as it was only when I had nearly finished that I noticed a break near one of the screws. Unfortunately it is right on the corner at the front of the box and unable to try and rejoin the pieces as pieces missing but I could not face taking all screws out to return the box so have kept it. The bench is well made for the price, but the assembly instructions are of very poor quality. The diagrams are both inadequate and misleading, eg the A x 2 panels, shown as identical in the crude drawing, are not in fact identical and have to be fixed a certain way. The same applies to the B x 2 and G x 2 panels. The fixings on the F x 2 struts are not as shown on the totally inadequate drawing. Some of the major pieces also small paper stickers on their ends with J, J1, J2 or J3 on them, but nothing is included to explain these. The actual materials of the bench are mostly OK but the fixings on the ends of the R x 4 cords are of poor quality. I would have given the bench 4 stars in terms of its quality but the instructions are so poor that I have made it 2 stars - 'room to improve'.. Anonymous. Fri May 29 2026

We've had the Dakota Fields retractable awning (395cm x 250cm) since May 2025 and have been very happy with it. We went with a manual (non-motorized) version as winding it out is fairly straightforwards and not a hassle. For whatever minor inconvenience that comes with that process, it far outweighs the hassle factor that comes with when the motorized unit eventually fails and the hassle that goes with replacement and inability to be used so I haven't regretted that decision—it operates easily and keeps things simple. We had it installed by a local builder, and every winter we keep it fully rolled in to protect it from the weather. As you can see from the image below - a protective shield over the item during prolonger periods of non-use will most likely prevent the bleaching. The only minor issue we've noticed is a small amount of discolouration on the outer edge, which we suspect is from sun bleaching of the section that remains exposed while the awning is rolled up. A protective cover during prolonged periods of non-use would probably help prevent this. Overall, it's been a great purchase and offers excellent value (€279) so I would recommend it to as a buy..
