P.S. Some earlier reviewers commented on "doors not staying shut" and similar. All I would like to say is that it is fairly difficult to correctly hang hinged cupboard doors. Try as you might, it seems one side is always uneven. Just persevere and hang the doors perfectly straight and in line with each other . . . it took me four or five attempts spread out over two hours to get them right, but I'm a skinny little old lady with COPD, and ALL of my chores could be done by my ex-husband in a very few minutes. Looks lovely, was actually really easy to build, and quite heavy & sturdy once together. Only part I struggled with was the hinges for the cupboards. The cupboards aren’t perfectly level with each other, even after faffing and adjusting the hinge screws. Only massively noticeable from eye level, once were sat on the sofa we don’t really notice it. The cupboards could do with soft close hinges to just give it the edge for the price point it’s at. I’ll have to buy some pads to soften the slamming. As a whole I’m really happy with it!. Leah. A beautifully minimalist audio cabinet from the solid oak range. The range is delicately handcrafted from the finest carefully selected and graded oak timbers. They are given a light lacquer finish to reveal the stunning beauty of the natural oak and to give a layer of protection to the wood. The design is very much in keeping with the look of today but will work in perfect harmony with both modern and traditional homes. This is 100% solid oak at its finest, even the drawer backs and base are solid oak. This product comes with both metal and wooden handles for you to choose from when it arrives.

A very substantial and attractive oak cabinet. It housed my olde worlde audio separate system perfectly. The weight does a very good job of isolating the record deck from any floor borne vibration. The 150mm square legs don't sink into the carpet. There is only one cable entry hole, approximately 65mm diameter, in the centre of the back panel which is large enough to pass a 13 amp plug through. The recesses at the sides between the legs are ideal for mounting a multiway extension socket (I needed 7 sockets) Nice to have soft close cabinet hinges on the door and the choice of handles was a nice touch. This beautiful handmade piece of furniture has been handmade in our workshop in the East Midlands. Every piece of furniture we create is made to order, by hand and up to an excellent standard, this gives our furniture the individual and unique look of vintage furniture. To make this piece of furniture we have used Scandinavian pine wood, which is of brilliant quality and has been finished to highlight the beautiful features of this wood. All of the planks that we have used have been specially and carefully chosen to give our furniture the best quality which is very likely to last for a long time, and not be damaged by daily use.
