The evolutionary Darwin shed is the perfect design if you want the look and feel of wood with all of the benefits and ease of plastic. A Keter shed provides ample airflow by having specifically placed vents but, as with any shed, condensation can form. If you do see signs of condensation here are hints to help you to protect the contents of your shed. To prevent condensation inside your shed, wherever possible, do not allow any excess moisture inside the shed. To do this try and ensure all equipment inside the shed such as camping gear or sporting goods are cleaned and dried before storing them in the shed. Try to let as much air inside the shed on cooler, dry days, by opening the shed doors. This will help the air circulation inside the shed and will drop the humidity level inside. Please note the durable material that all Keter sheds are made of will not be affected by moisture or condensation as part of the Keter no maintenance promise.

Great little shed. As long as you follow the instructions, it's pretty straightforward to put together. Take note of the 4x corner panels and the dimensions - the 2 sides are different widths so if you don't get them the correct way round, it won't fit together properly. Having worked as a handyman, putting it together was pretty simple. It’s easier with two people but certainly possible with one if you use have the tools. What I completely neglected to realise is, sheds are deceiving, or at least the measurements are. As you read the title, you would assume the base is 7x7, but that is not the case. The roof is what spans across at that measurement. So don’t think you will be getting 7x7 space. Other than that... It’s basic, pretty simple and it is a shed. The Holt is an attractive and well made British shed featuring high grade 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding and strong 34mm sqauare framing. There are two opening glass windows for added light and ventilation. Faux shutters are also supplied. The double door is fitted with a rim lock and wooden knob. The floor is 12mm matching T&G whilst the roof is solid sheet OSB boards, roof felt is also supplied for the exterior. The shed is dip treated with a preservative base coat ready for your own topcoat of paint or stain. On the date given, on time, well packed and looks a pretty good piece of kit once I’ve cracked the ability to piece it together! It is certainly no 5 minute job especially when they say 5 hours! Materials seem good but feel I need to improve my planned base as that within the shed materials is anything but rigid. So, not yet up but on first sight it looks good. First of all, I read previous reviews before ordering and the main complaint is that the instructions are difficult to understand or inaccurate. After receiving the shed, I found the instructions very intuitive. They are on A5 so quite small but as long as you test fit the pieces before fixing parts together, you will see pretty quickly if the orientation is incorrect. If you are unsure, read ahead a couple of pages and everything should make sense. Assembled on my own in a few hours, and really happy with the quality of the shed. I’m going to make some modifications to make it more secure, but I couldn’t buy the materials to make a custom shed for this price so I’m delighted!. Anonymous. Wed Jan 10 2024
