I am disappointed to find that this is not suitable as an aquarium stand as it seems to absorb any spilt water straight away. This makes me think it will rot on the inside and then break under the weight of a tank. Excellent very pleased with this and sturdy and my little fella seems happy enough he's got plenty of room to explore .
