This really is a superb awning. It is good quality metal, the remote control is good and the built in lights add a touch of class. Its so good, we have purchased three now for our outside bar terrace. Just be careful not to throw the remote control away with the packaging its in a small box. Looks good and does the job keeping the sun off our patio doors. Seems sturdy and quite well made. Fairly easy to fit once I sourced a good quality 12mm masonry drill bit. Delivery via XPD was not a great experience, arrived without notice days after the estimated delivery date. Looked like it had been roughly handled, packaging was badly damaged on one end, but awning survived with only slight cosmetic mark on the end that isn't noticeable when installed.. Anonymous. So far I have just taken it out of the box to check the colour and see what it looks like, which appear ok and I like the colour medium grey, it seems easy to pull out and retract.
