The kettle is exactly what you would expect it to be. It is light and very quick to boil. There really isn't much to say about the kettle but the delivery is another matter. It is lucky it arrived in one piece as the original packaging had obviously been crushed and there are even tyre marks on the instruction booklet. DHL had obviously repackaged it before delivery. Very well made kettle nice wide base sits on the gas hob and doesn’t wast any of the heat, boils very quickly. Lid it easy to open whistle not too loud. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is the price says including VAT then there is an additional tax added on of £5.82 so what you see is not what you pay. On the whole a nice looking kettle to have on the counter top. Clean lines. I did think the silver parts would be metal but they are plastic which I am not keen on but am getting used to. Performs very well. The smell that accompanies it when you first open the lid does disappear after the recommended two boils.
