Perfect size and amazing price. I bought it to sharpen scissors and, once I’d got the hang of it, it was easy. I don’t think it would be good if used all the time as the ‘grooves’ are not very deep but perfect for occasional use.. Judith. London, GB. Sun Sep 06 2026

This is a great item. The board holds 6 knives magnetically and it is very stable because of the stand and how heavy it is. Very stylish and looks good but takes up a lot of room because it can only be used one way conveniently. I wouldn’t recommend for small kitchens with little workspace. Rebecca. Portland, GB. If you’re looking for a quick, efficient and reliable way to sharpen your favourite knives, look no further. Grunwerg’s Rockingham Forge range of pull-through sharpening accessories has something for everyone, from manual to electric sharpeners that can be used in the home or in a workplace. Once you have invested in a quality set of knives, you want to make them last as long as possible. If you have invested in a set of our premium knives, a lot of people assume that if they are made with quality material, they can take care of themselves. This is not the case. Pull-Through Sharpeners: With either bands or wheels made from the sharpening material. These are the simplest to use, as the knife needs to be purely run backwards and forwards, provided the sharpener is set at the right angle. Cleaning: We advise that you clean your knives with warm soapy water. A lot of people do put their knives in the dishwasher, but we will never encourage this. The reason for is because dishwasher detergent is very abrasive, and along with the banging around that happens during a wash cycle, will take the sharp edge right off your knife. (Plus, it's not safe for the person unloading the dishwasher).

Suitable for fine-edge knives only, it is not intended for use with serrated blades or scissors. Designed with a sturdy non-slip rubber base and a soft-grip handle, this handheld knife sharpener stays securely in place during use, providing stable, controlled sharpening whether preparing a quick meal or tackling weekly prep.
