They came well packed and were extremely easy to assemble needing just four screws to attach the base to the main unit. An Allen key was even provided for this task. Good quality build, looks good. Quite complicated to assemble, took 3 times longer than the instructions suggest. After receiving it Evri took four days to deliver it, and only then after I had to chase it up. Partly due apparently to Wayfair describing it as a small parcel when its quite big and heavy. CD rack itself is fine, looks good, sturdy enough, a firmer ‘close’ mechanism for the glass door would be good as it isn’t particularly strong and doesn’t take much at all for it to swing open. Instructions on assembly aren’t great, there’s a lot happening on one diagram and it’s not clear as to the order steps should be completed in but I figured it out and I’m not great at this stuff it’s not too complicated to work out.. A beautifully minimalist audio cabinet from the solid oak range. The range is delicately handcrafted from the finest carefully selected and graded oak timbers. This is 100% solid oak at its finest, even the drawer backs and base are solid oak. This product comes with both metal and wooden handles for you to choose from when it arrives.

A very substantial and attractive oak cabinet. It housed my olde worlde audio separate system perfectly. The weight does a very good job of isolating the record deck from any floor borne vibration. The 150mm square legs don't sink into the carpet. There is only one cable entry hole, approximately 65mm diameter, in the centre of the back panel which is large enough to pass a 13 amp plug through. The recesses at the sides between the legs are ideal for mounting a multiway extension socket (I needed 7 sockets) Nice to have soft close cabinet hinges on the door and the choice of handles was a nice touch. The item came well packaged and all the parts were all in order, even having spares. There could be a re-think on the steps of construction, as I followed them to the letter, but found, for example that the screw-in bolts on section 1 were a bit of a hinderance while putting the screws in with the allen key. Also I found it easier to put in the feet before putting the base board on. These are just very minor niggles, and I am really happy with the unit, so much so, that I will be ordering another one and replace the much inferior one I bought from Argos (on the right of the picture). There's loads of room to get your CD's in and out (unlike the one from Argos where there's no room to get your finger in to take a CD out, and you have to leave a gap so that the CD's don't get stuck!!). It's really sturdy, and with the base being wide I found that I didn't have to use the restraining straps that attach to the wall (although my floor is concrete, so there's no give when walking next to it like there would be on a wooden floor)..
