Very disappointed Shoddy workmanship with poorly aligned pilot screw hols, some holes inadequately pre-drilled out, poorly aligned panels. The professional who I paid to assemble it was not impressed! And he was very surprised by how much I paid for the unit. Also, I was under the impression that the mattress that I was upselled would fold up into the unit. It doesn’t!. Richard Mendelson. Dorking. Happy with the finished product although construction is not for the faint-hearted. It says it requires three people to assemble it however I managed 95% of it on my own and with a bit of planning, a second person is useful when it comes to manouvering the two halves around the room. I managed to construct the double bed version entirely in a room which is only 13ft by 8ft. The hardest part is following the instructions, they are not particularly clear in places and the "magnified" bits could do with being 2x larger. One step is particularly baffling where it expects you to screw a large nut in at either side but doesn't explain that you do it from the opposite side (well I did anyway because it was impossible to do it any other way). Some of the wooden holes didn't line up perfectly with the metal frame so I had to enlarge them slightly with a drill. Also some of the screws are already screwed into the pieces rather than being in the bags so you can be hunting around for things which are hiding in plain sight. Once constructed and in place the bed feels solid, the mechanism works well, in fact the springs are so powerful that until you get the bed flat it feels like it would catapult shut if you get go of it! The straps which hold the mattress in place seem like a bit of an afterthought, there are no pre-drilled holes to fix them in place and you just basically screw them to the wood, it'd look nicer using steel screw cup washers.. Purchased SuperKing size. I Chose this to fit a MCM style decor and because the mattress goes to the edge of the platform. Due to the small bedroom I needed to save as much space as possible, and I hate knocking my shins against the sides of a bed. I am very satisfied with the bed frame. The colour is as expected, and is a warm brown. The Surface of the headboard is smooth, no rough wood or splinters. It appears to be strong and hasn’t shifted about or creaked. Just be aware that the headboard is made up of small pieces of wood, if you look closely at photos you will notice that. It wasn’t my first preference but I still ended up ordering it and I like it. The height available underneath is 14cm, so my underbed storage boxes didn’t fit under. I got new big bags that could squash under and I had a clear out too. We didn’t end up using the sticky strips that you’re supposed to place the mattress onto. My latex mattress is so heavy there’s no way it’s shifting anywhere. I did inadvertently order the assembly guys on delivery. So just be careful when ordering if you don’t want that. It only worked out to £40 though in my case, which was good value. The 2 guys took 45 mins to assemble the bed and they took all the packaging away.. Samantha. West Yorkshire Uk. Wed Sep 09 2026

The stylish design of this folding bed with over-bed units is the perfect storage solution for your modern home. It is perfect for providing maximum bedroom space, especially for small rooms which makes it a great addition to your home.

Putting it together was lengthy, the instructions were quite minimal also there were no words. The springs were very tight and we were quite unsure whether the tension was correct due to the lack of written instructions. We did need a builder to attach it to the wall, but after all the palava it is a great bed wall cabinet.. Su. St Leonards On Sea, GB. Thu Jun 18 2020

I brought this Mirabella Deluxe Platform solid wood bed frame, because I desperately needed a bed frame, and I was fed up of sleeping on my hard wooden flooring. I like the minimalistic look of it, plus it's extremely study once built. The instructions was very easy to follow. All the equipment to build the bed frame was provided. All the equipment needed , was labelled correctly with numbered stickers, aswel as packed well. Which is very handy, as there is nothing more extremely frustrating aswell as intolerable ,when your are not being provided with clear instructions, equipment or missing packaging. Thankfully this was not the case with this particular product. I would definitely recommend this bed. Thank you.. Denice Detroit. Grimsby Town. Thu Oct 08 2026

Three integrated drawers provide valuable storage space for clothing, bed linen, and more, while the included bed slats look after mattress life and ensure you'll sleep soundly through the night.

Really sturdy, with lots of storage room. You can easily fit a winter duvet into the draw, it's really roomy. Exactly what I was looking for my growing son. Quite easy to put together, all the screws and other things were labelled very well and the instruction was well read. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars it's the little chip we have in the wood just between the draws, it's quite visible unfortunately, however doesn't affect the functionality in any way.. Kinga.
