My son assembled the bed & said it wasn't too difficult! Ive only slept one night on it but it seems ok. I think for the money its adequate. If you want a more solid & heavier duty frame then obviously you have to pay more. But so far so good. Deborah. Bere Alston Yelverton, GB. Thu Aug 06 2026

Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. Love this bed frame, over the years we've had one in king and two in double sizes. Super sleek looking, the metal is great as our cat cannot scratch and ruin it, it's sturdy and easy to assemble. Out of the three one is quite squeaky and we can't figure out why, but the other two are not at all. Overall very pleased.. Iva. Liverpool, GB. Fri Jul 24 2026

This bed frame was a part of a birthday present for my adult son/carer and also a thank you for looking after me so well. He was over the moon as his other bed had just about given up on him. It was fairly easy to put together (he is not very good at any form of DIY) he managed to put the bed together with just a little bit of supervision from myself. DIY was always my job but I can not manage it anymore.. Christine. Margate Kent. Tue Oct 06 2026

Purchased SuperKing size. I Chose this to fit a MCM style decor and because the mattress goes to the edge of the platform. Due to the small bedroom I needed to save as much space as possible, and I hate knocking my shins against the sides of a bed. I am very satisfied with the bed frame. The colour is as expected, and is a warm brown. The Surface of the headboard is smooth, no rough wood or splinters. It appears to be strong and hasn’t shifted about or creaked. Just be aware that the headboard is made up of small pieces of wood, if you look closely at photos you will notice that. It wasn’t my first preference but I still ended up ordering it and I like it. The height available underneath is 14cm, so my underbed storage boxes didn’t fit under. I got new big bags that could squash under and I had a clear out too. We didn’t end up using the sticky strips that you’re supposed to place the mattress onto. My latex mattress is so heavy there’s no way it’s shifting anywhere. I did inadvertently order the assembly guys on delivery. So just be careful when ordering if you don’t want that. It only worked out to £40 though in my case, which was good value. The 2 guys took 45 mins to assemble the bed and they took all the packaging away.. Samantha. West Yorkshire Uk. Wed Sep 09 2026

I was really nervous after I’d seen the reviews but the delivery men couldn’t have been nicer, they took the packages to the room I asked them to, and yes it was a pain to put together, but betweeen my husband and I we did it in a few days. One star missing because one of the steps broke when my husband climbed them to finish the slats on the bed and he hadn’t put the fronts on the stairs to secure them beforehand.. Anonymous.
