Took ages to assemble. The Allen key rounded off have way through and an eccentric nut broke during assembly. None of the panels are numbered. All the screws, nails etc are packed in the same bag. You would lose time identifying and separating each in the beginning. The unit is heavy and build it where you want to place it. As of now the unit is sturdy. But I would not recommend it. If you have a furniture shop in your neighborhood and if they do fitting and delivery, it is better to buy one from them than spend four hours assembling this thing.. Arunkumar. Ilford, GB. Happy with how this turned out. Fine quality and looks like the pictures. One fixture, a big screw, was damaged and thankfully my handy dad adjusted with a hacksaw. Also bought little feet to prop under front legs to make a little more secure. Wouldnt be needed if on a hard floor but mine is on a carpet. Quite tricky to assemble, definitely needs two people.. L. I would probably have gone for a honey coloured pine if one had been available but the one thing I have worked out is that pine is not popular anymore and I wanted something to go with furniture I bought back in 2002. If I could have found something preassemled I would have but this was the best I could do under the circumstances. It is solid wood and a good price for what it is. It is also fairly easy to assemble. I am quite pleased with it now it’s up, but I was cursing in the middle of building it because some of the screws are at bit of an odd angle.
