It is actually pretty comfortable if you don’t sit on the seam. It is firm but softens over time. The feel of the material is soft, which I like. It isn’t slick, but feels like worn leather. It is holding up beautifully — no problems. I paid about $250 more than the current price. So this is a good deal. I feel that it was a good investment and I am happy! One of the best features of this is the backrests making it so much easier to manoeuvre them through doors. The material, patterns and colour looks totally different from the picture. The actual product looks like faded grey rather than dark grey. Also the line patterns seem in the picture are not present in the actual chair. It is not the most comfortable to rest on as the back of the chair is slanted a bit which makes it difficult to relax..
