Another open-box win. Fairly straightforward to assemble - many reviews comment that it needs two people but I didn’t have any trouble on my own (maybe I just have really long arms). The only tricky part for me when installing the base , I should have left the screws attaching the sides just a little looser so it was easier to slot it in. I love the way the chair looks and it was pretty easy to put together. I think it’s pretty comfortable. However I am concerned about the cushions long term - they have already made impressions in them from sitting on it maybe an hour or two a day for the last week. I also wish the cushion on the ottoman would attach to its base - I’m thinking about using Velcro on it. However the holes between one piece to another didn’t align as well as they should have, this is what took time. Had they aligned I would have done it in Less than half hour. Arrived safe and sound, looks great. Nice and firm, but not super firm. Good chair to have in a living room if you have guests around, Would give 5 stars, except had some scratches near one of the screw holes. Not sure if that was a manufacturing error, or a transit issue. For the price I paid, that's not great. That said, solid chair all round.
