Some reviews have shared concerns about the quality on delivery, some items being missing or holes in the wrong places and instructions difficult to follow. I didn't find this and whilst it took time to build it is now put together well and is good. One thing that isn't clear in the photos or description is that there are not trays in each of the 5 water levels. They are actually soft plastic/ polythene liners that are screwed in to place. Not sure yet if that has any bearing on quality or durability but it wasn't clear from other reviews. Overall happy with purchase. Alex. Filton Bristol, GB. Sat May 09 2026

This pond liner provides an excellent basis for creating your own personalised pond in your garden or on your property. The pond liner is made of first-class PVC, is highly elastic and tear-resistant and is therefore perfect for creating shallow and deep water zones as it is harmless to plants and animals. The pond underlay can be easily cut to size with scissors. Gluing or welding with PVC adhesive (polyvinyl chloride) is also possible without any problems. Create a little oasis of relaxation on your property to take a break from the stresses of everyday life! Important note:1 Before laying the pond liner, make sure the surface is dry and free of ice, snow, stones and other hard or sharp objects to avoid cuts, dents and damage.2.You can use the following formula to calculate the size:Length of pond liner: finished pond length + double depth + double edge overlap*Width of pond liner: finished pond width + double depth + double edge overlap**Recommended minimum overlap of 0.10 mIt is recommended to purchase a few extra metres to compensate for errors and to have enough liner to keep the edges above the maximum water level.3 We recommend the use of a suitable pond fleece under the pond liner. The main function is to distribute the load and thus reduce the mechanical stress on the pond liner.

Very pretty and well built, but would be better if the inlet on the bottom was at the back instead of vertical and centered. It makes it hard to plumb. There is no good image of the inlet and no documentation here so it was hard to tell before it arrived, but it is centered on the bottom and big, so there is minimal space between the front edge of the box and the inlet. That made installation more difficult than it needed to be.. T.j.. Washington, Dc. Wed Aug 12 2020

This hand pump can be easily installed. With a cast iron construction, it is robust and highly durable. The pump itself has a 38 mm (1 1/2") female fitting at the bottom, and a PVC pipe or a stainless steel pipe needs to be connected to the fitting (either through a male threaded fitting or with a hose connector) to divert water into the pump. Nice product on the whole, easy to assemble , arrived next day. Two things to be aware of, it’s really quiet, if you’re using it outside the sound of cascading water is really faint , also the plug socket is of the American type and if you have outside electricity you can’t close the protective cover of the socket..
