This protective dome has been found to successfully prevent the wily squirrel and other predators from reaching hanging bird feeders. The super-smooth, slippery surface is attached to the feeder pole, making the squirrel slide off and stopping it from getting a grip, before it can reach the feeder. The Squirrel Baffle also gives protective cover from the weather while birds feed, at the same time, keeping the seeds or nuts dry and less likely to deteriorate. For use with any bird feeder poles and feeding kits, our Baffle measures 40cm in width and can accommodate a feeding station pole that measures up to 2.5cm in diameter.

This high quality bird feeding station comes complete with 4 feeders, all made from hard wearing metal with a bronze finish. The feeding station also has a water dish and mealworm tray, as well as a hanger for fat snax or another feeder. Coming with a pole in 4 pieces, when assembled it measures 2.4m high and is 50cm wide. The pole just slots together and the last piece of the pole has a pointed end so it can be pushed into the soil to keep the station upright. All the feeder supports are held on the pole with butterfly bolts, easily tightened and loosened, while the top pole has a rubber finial that not only looks good, but keeps water out of the pole as well. Set contains one each of seed, nut and fatball feeder, a bird bath, a mealworm feeder tray and a fatball feeder hook.

Stopping squirrels from climbing up the pole of a bird feeding station can be quite a challenge. These baffles are up to the job. The squirrel climbs up the pole and comes to the baffle that it cannot get around, stopping it in its tracks. Cleverly designed, the baffle clips together so can be put on an already assembled station. The unit is held in place with an adjustable bracket, so will fit on our Bird Feeding Station as well as others with thicker poles. The baffle is held in place using gravity alone, so if the squirrel gets lucky and lands on the top of the baffle, it tips to the side stopping the squirrel from getting any purchase.

Made from stainless steel, this feeder is strong and durable. Simple to refill, this modern style makes an attractive addition to your garden.

The item is listed as copper when in fact it is no more than copper plated metal - which when installed as an outdoor bird feeder has soon deteriorated - miss described and miss sold. To be fair Wayfair have sent a replacement but I suspect it will go the same way.. Anonymous. Sandown, GB. Thu May 13 2021
