We needed a railing for a short staircase on the back deck. It's a small deck and needed something that wouldn't visually dominate. The railing was exactly what we needed. We… Well I say we, my husband, installed it easily and it was not difficult for him to put it together. The whole operation took about an hour. There isn't much flexibility in the product in terms of size. There are several sizes available but there's quite a jump from this small one to the next size up. We're looking forward to a maintenance free experience with this hand railing. It is sturdy and well-made and with the exception of size limitations, I have no complaints about the product. you can see from the pictures that it is sleek and modern but it's also sturdy. This gate is a life saver (more of a time savor and stress reducer). I wanted a simple gate to keep my dogs from running out when my children left the door open too long or my family came over, forgetting that I had dogs. This door went above my expectations. I love the design of it and how it goes so well with the flow. The extra height is great for larger pets or pets that can jump HIGH (like my 2 smalltiny dogs), and that provides me peace of mind. Its a minimalist design that is both functional and stylish. The assembly was relatively straightforward, although I did encounter a small issue. One of the wall-mounted pieces was missing, so I couldnt secure the gate to the wall as intended. The rest of the parts were easy to put together, and the instructions were clear. (However, the part about not removing the ziptie was not in the instructions. I later saw it in the picture). It took me about 20 minutes to assemble and attach it to my door. The gate feels sturdy and well-made overall. The acrylic panels are quite strong and dont seem like they would easily crack or break under normal use. My dog in the picture does not go to the door, and he just sits there close by it. My other dog will run and jump on it scratching it, trying to get out and it hasnt fell even with it to being properly secure to the walls of the door frame (he is a tiny yorkie. I cant make any promises for bigger dogs). It was midnight when I put this together, so the gate door opens opposite the front door, but I can easily swap it later. The ball-top single garden gate is heavy-duty, high-quality metal. Note: The listed sizes fit a total post-to-post GAP, the hinge and latch gaps are already accounted for. Electro-galvanized for added rust resistance and powder-coated black, the finish must be inspected, and any chips touched up. The galvanizing is not a 100% rustproof guarantee. Like any outdoor metal product, it may need to be painted every couple of years to ensure a long life. Moving parts will need to be touched up regularly. Fittings supplied to fix brick walls, metal, or timber posts. It comes with angle brackets, bolts, a rocker latch, and a wall-mounted catch, but no screws. Nuts and bolts must be painted after fitting to prevent the onset of rust. Made from 25mm x 10mm solid metal frames and infill bars 12mm diameter. Search Wayfair for optional Lepine ball tops or flat tops 50mm or 70mm square x 1400mm long concrete in blank metal posts that are available to purchase.
