Perfect gift. Gladys. Malvern, GB. Thu Mar 25 2021

It's really cute! Small but well made. It's a gift to an elderly uncle but doubt he would use it other than display. Took a star off as it did not come in a nicely packaged box but just a regular cardboard post box. It was well wrapped and marked fragile so arrived safely and on time.. Anonymous. Sat Nov 26 2022

I am disappointed! Despite the fact, that the teapot itself is quite cute, it is not 1L as was written in the description. Not in the slightest. If i knew that before I decided to buy, I simply would have chosen another one. I don’t need a teapot for it to stay on the shelf. I wanted to use one.. Alina. Reading, GB. Sat Nov 12 2022

Really like this teapot. It seemed hard to find a glass one that could also be used on a gass stove top. We use it to make chai so a little bit of a different process putting in the mix, milk and sugar but worked well and made almost no mess unlike using a pan. Would recommend. The 1l is a little small but works well for 2 people with bigger mugs.. Anonymous. Mon Nov 04 2024

This teapot is styled after a 1920s/1930s period typewriter. In common with all manufacturer teapots, where you see gold details they are produced using real gold, and the silver is created in platinum. The lid is the carriage section.

Add a touch of culture to your tea-making with the beautiful teapot perfect for any discerning tea lover. Cast iron is renowned for its ability to evenly distribute heat for a more flavourful cup of tea, making every hot drink a delicious one. Featuring a mesh infuser insert, this gives you the freedom to brew your favorite loose tea or use tea bags. The traditional hobnail effect and over-arching handle create an elegant addition to any tabletop. To ensure you get the most out of this, rinse out with boiling water, clean, and dry after each use. With roots reaching as far back as the 17th century, the Tetsubin has stood the test of time, and today remains an integral part of the tea lover's kitchen. During the 17th and 18th centuries, cast iron teapots were placed over an open charcoal fire to keep water warm, which was believed to slowly release iron into the water, providing drinkers with a dietary source. This, combined with sophisticated intricate designs, led to huge popularity which remains to this very day.
