This super-strong, steel raised bed can be set up in any one of six shapes. The chic modular planter provides a modern and stylish take on galvanised trough planters. Made from extremely durable Zincalume® steel with Colourbond coating so it lasts up to four times longer than regular galvanised steel. Choose the shape that suits your needs: as a long, narrow bed, as a traditional square bed, or one of two rectangular shapes. At 38-39cm high (bed height may vary +/-50mm), it’s suitable for all types of vegetables, herbs and flowers and minimises bending and stooping when you’re planting or weeding. We recommend placing the bottom edge of the bed in a layer of 10-20mm gravel. This allows excellent drainage and protects the bottom edge of the bed. Placing on level ground is also advised. No liner is required. Flat packed for home assembly, the no-tools-assembly kit includes hardware plus plastic protective edging for the top edge.

Easy to put together, very well made perfect for my small garden area. Love the fact it is versatile and can be put together in six different ways. Lita. Nottingham. Thu May 16 2024

Look good when built, clear easy to follow instructions, decided on 2 lower planters instead of 1 high. Quality of the steel could have been better as very thin and bends easily. Linda. East Tilbury Tilbury, GB. Sat Aug 22 2026

This weathering steel hexagon garden raised bed is a great choice for DIY enthusiasts to decorate their gardens, balconies, or patios. Durable material: Corten steel, also known as weathering steel. This is anti-corrosive by its very nature. It develops a rusty protective layer against corrosion when first exposed to atmospheric conditions. Thus, you don't need to paint it. This can help you save on maintenance and repair costs. The distinctive brown colour on the corten steel will surely be an eye-catcher. Finally, weathering steel is exceptionally durable and will stand up to the test of time. Ample space: The planter is deep and wide enough to hold a large amount of soil and provide ample space for your plants, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Sturdy frame: The steel frame and interior support brackets of the raised bed ensure sturdiness and stability. Open bottom: The bottomless design provides good drainage for plants and prevents water buildup that causes the roots of plants to rot. It also allows plants to better absorb nutrients. You can place it on soil, grass, or concrete floors. Safe edge fold: The rim of the garden pot has an edge fold design, so no dangerous sharp edges are exposed. Good to know: This product is not rusted yet and has a normal metal colour when you receive it, but rust will develop over time. You could speed up the rusting process by spraying it with soap water and salt water. To keep your clothes stain-free, avoid contact with the developing rust layer. To make assembly as easy as possible, each product is delivered with a manual.

Overall for the money it’s ok , very fiddly to put together and not sure how long it will survive , but it was on sale so happy , will go rusty over time so will get the look in after in due course .. Suzanne. Wed Mar 25 2026

Good quality but took a long time to put together even by a maintenance person as there were so many pieces. Also be aware this is a bottomless planter. It does say this at the very end of the description but I'd missed it! Didn't even know there was such a thing, so have had to improvise with a base layer.. Anonymous. Mon Mar 23 2026

Lovely product once built. however I think the components should be marked to ease installation, and certain components needed bending which required a lot of strength and took quite a lot of time to figure it all out but once we had were really pleased and hopefully wait to see if it rust !. Perfect for growing herbs on a window ledge or dotted around the garden, these items are inspired by the traditional farmers' pig trough, a nod to the countryside of yore to bring a truly rustic element to the home or garden. Produced from premium material, the thick walls keep your plants cool in the summer and warm in the winter, the planter can easily be drilled for drainage for use outdoors. Antiqued iron handles and feet, along with classic Foras brass plated branding, make these planters one of a kind.

These are delightful small planters I love them. Only hiccough, if any, is that there are no drainage holes and being galvenised they will need drilling. Barbara. Kelstedge Ashover Chesterfield, GB. Wed Sep 04 2024
