Easy to assemble & used for a number of books, plants, etc. Regarding a few negative comments about these from others, there is a step of about 5-6mm between the base & the sides but this is to facilitate space for the hanging fixtures attached to the end panels. It is barely noticeable when the shelves are hung. The colour is a very dark grey. Don't expect a mid or silver grey, they are dark! I ordered mine in black, assembley was pretty straightforward with everything fitting as it should, I only have one problem and that is that unless you stand directly in front of it you can see the led lights, this isn’t really an issue for me but just trying to give an honest review.
