The bed is nice and sturdy. To turn on the lights simply lift the lamp. The only downside is that when you close the bedside table it doesn’t go down all the way because it’s too close to the bed. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is a feel like it could be a little flimsy, as the side rail for the slats screw into the side panels directly with no support underneath besides the middle legs (normally there is a long timber Batton for it to rest on to add additional support).
