The 3-step multi-function switch determines whether upper heat, lower heat or both should be used at the same time. Last but not least, the 0 to 60-minute timer beeps at the end of the cooking time, allowing you to time cooking your meals perfectly. Besides the rotisserie spit, you can also use the baking tray and grill rack, which are both included. Four insertion heights are available to allow for perfect positioning. I was going to give it 3 stars but I have used it a bit more and find the unit works very well for items like 'sauteing' cherry tomatoes in a drop or two of olive oil as well as a quick toasting of the wide sourdough bread slices. I put 1 or 2 dishes on top of it so plates get warm. Controls are clear. The door on the old toaster oven [ I still have ] is connected to the grill pan so it came out when the door was lowered, making removing hot food a lot easier. Only one gripe, some of the listings and reviews mention a function whereby you can lift the toast during toasting to check the brownness without cancelling the toasting time.
