This super-strong, steel raised bed can be set up in any one of six shapes. The chic modular planter provides a modern and stylish take on galvanised trough planters. Made from extremely durable Zincalume® steel with Colourbond coating so it lasts up to four times longer than regular galvanised steel. Choose the shape that suits your needs: as a long, narrow bed, as a traditional square bed, or one of two rectangular shapes. At 38-39cm high (bed height may vary +/-50mm), it’s suitable for all types of vegetables, herbs and flowers and minimises bending and stooping when you’re planting or weeding. We recommend placing the bottom edge of the bed in a layer of 10-20mm gravel. This allows excellent drainage and protects the bottom edge of the bed. Placing on level ground is also advised. No liner is required. Flat packed for home assembly, the no-tools-assembly kit includes hardware plus plastic protective edging for the top edge.

Easy to put together, very well made perfect for my small garden area. Love the fact it is versatile and can be put together in six different ways. Lita. Nottingham. Thu May 16 2024

Every year, the UK produces over 6 million tonnes of household food waste, massively increasing our carbon emissions and quickly filling up landfills. One of the best ways to help out? Composting! Not only does composting reduce your carbon footprint, but also benefits your garden by enriching the soil and tackling plant diseases and pests. It’s a win-win for you and the planet, and with our large 360L composter it has never been easier. Quickly assembled and with a slatted design for in-built aeration, as well as a rain-collection lid for irrigation, this 360L black composting bin is ideal for cutting down on waste. Frost resistant, our bins are durable and solid for all seasons and windy days with secure ground pegs that also keep rodents out. With hinged doors for easy access that can be padlocked for security, the black bin keeps the heat in for faster decomposition and prevents odours from drifting across the garden. This product will need self-assembly, but our instructions are quick and easy to follow. Please place this composer on grass or soil.

Give mini-plugs and seedlings the best start with these robust cellular trays with handy clear lids. Clear lids allow you to keep an eye on seeds and plugs as they grow.

The product is the perfect alternative where conventional soil cannot or should not be used. The vulnerability to diseases is reduced. Even after some time, the structurally stable plant substrate does not condense and it keeps its air-permeable structure. The product can be used for years, without having to be replaced! The multiple filtering in production reduces the fine particles in the substrate to a minimum. This prevents a silting up in the root area and sustains a long-lasting capillarity. The substance zeolite stabilizes the ideal pH balance for healthy plant growth in your planter. Macro and micronutrients remain permanently. The product has a continuous capillarity up to the planter's surface. Even undergrowth and small rooted plants get the perfect amount of water this way. The plant substrate takes care of balanced nutrient distribution in the root area of your planter. Through the ideal supply, the plant builds a consistent, compact root dispersion and becomes a robust plant, that will stay with you for a long time. The product acts as a buffer, that absorbs excessive fertilizer and gives it back to the plant when needed. Natural nutrient storage prevents the burning of the roots through overfertilizing. The product has an adjusted bulk weight. Your plant is supported firmly in the planter, which is important for bigger plants. The product takes care that your planter stays stable and is suited perfectly for outdoor use. The substrate is a natural odor absorber, for eg. Dead roots. Metallic elements and pollutants (e.g. From the water) are blocked permanently. The purely mineral plant substrate prevents the fungus that attacks the roots. The product is therefore suited for people who may have allergies. It is not a good home for pests such as the dark-winged fungus gnats, as they only nest in soil. Pon is free-flowing and can be used on its own without any soil to fill the planters. When planting in the product you don't have to free the root ball completely from the soil. Fully coated premium quality fertilizer. The coating is purely organic and degrades residue-free. The fertilizer supplies your plant with nutrients for up to 6 months. Suitable for all plants, like foliage and flowering plants, orchids, citrus plants, herbs, tomatoes, fruit trees, and cacti!

The Darwin Elevated Garden Bed turns dreams of homegrown herbs and veggies into a flourishing reality. An innovative self-watering and draining system is coupled with Keter's unique water-level indicator to ensure plants stay perfectly hydrated. Elevated ergonomics allow for comfortable tending to the garden bed without crouching or bending, while the beautiful dual tone finish and embossed wood like textures blend into any garden, balcony, or rooftop.

This raised bed is well worth paying a little more for. It took about an hour and a half to assemble (32 screws) but the finished product is excellent quality. It is very sturdy, strong, fade proof, waterproof and has a modern colouring to blend into most gardens, it won't need painting or treating, and I found it a good height for me at 5 foot 5 inches. Once filled with soil it is also wind proof. You can plant about 15 lettuce comfortably, or more if you plant them closer still. The bonus for me which I was not aware of before ordering, is the water gauge. The gauge tells you when to water your plants, or if there is too much water in the bed, if it is flooded from rain there is a plug to release the excess water onto the ground below or into a watering can. Very impressed overall with the design, and it should last for years. Would buy again.. Ht. Herefordshire, GB. Wed May 13 2026
