I really like the Solitaire Kettle as it goes with my Solitaire Toaster and my Solitaire Set of 3 Cannisters. The downfall of the Kettle however is that the Kettle lid is difficult to open and sticks continuously and have to use my fingernail after 6 attempts at opening it up, mechanism needs looking at.. Hungry and thirsty, anyone?

I bought this in Green and gold because I wanted to add a splash of colour and finesse to the kitchen worktop, and I love how snazzy these look. They work perfectly too. But the only thing I would say is that I think it would be nice if the toaster was gold all over, as the top of the toaster is silver as opposed to gold.. Katie . East Sussex. Thu Sep 10 2026
