I was concerned as the motor power was less than a third of the Kenwood but as it turned out this was not a problem, It is certainly a better looking mixer but also much quieter with a more solid feel, I was expecting my wife to say it was not as good as her previous one, however she sung its praises first few mixes are perfect with the planetary action being very thorough. Unfortunately it didn't live up to what I expected from other Tower pans. Although it is advertised for all hobs including induction it didn't work. When I tested it for iron content in the base using a magnet, the magnet fell off. Tower said it was probably my induction hob at fault. Strange, all other pans worked including some of their own.
