This is such a beautiful storage chest, I am using it as a coffee table beautiful colour, I will mention I could not put this together I attempted to but it’s not that easy on your own, you will need more than a screwdriver and hammer like it suggested it does need the use of a drill, and the person who built this is professional and it about a hour and a half, but extremely happy with the way it looks.. Our version is the perfect size for a highly useful coffee table with an oriental twist, or place one at the end of the bed for extra seating and storage. Made of solid reclaimed elm, with dovetail joints and an imposing brass lock plate and fittings.

Delivery took a lot longer than schduled. When the trunk arrived, both side pieces of the lid, in the front corner, were not sloted in well with the piece of wood running along the front of the lid.
