2 Piece Pixie Sitting Down Outdoor Garden Statue Set! Bring some wonder into your home with this fantastic pixie by Anthony Fisher. What are Pixies? Akin to the Irish and Scottish Aos Sí, pixies are believed to inhabit ancient underground ancestor sites such as stone circles, barrows, dolmens, ringfort or menhirs. In traditional regional lore, pixies are generally benign, mischievous, short of stature and attractively childlike; they are fond of dancing, gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance or sometimes wrestle, through the night. In modern times they are usually depicted with pointed ears, and often wearing a green outfit and pointed hat, although traditional stories describe them wearing dirty ragged bundles of rags which they happy discard for gifts of new clothes. Sometimes their eyes are described as being pointed upwards at the temple ends. These, however, are Victorian era conventions and not part of the older mythology.

This charming tree hugger comes in the form of a winged fairy peeking out from behind the tree. Simply mount the fairy on one side of a tree, and he will appear peeking out from behind. Crafted from weather-resistant polyresin, with metal 'wings', this charming fairy is hardwearing, tough, and durable. He will guard the garden come rain or shine as he is completely weather and water-resistant, making him look great for even longer. Add some humour to the garden and surprise the guests with this unique garden decoration. An ideal addition to any existing 'fairy garden' or as a unique one-off piece of garden decor.
