Absolutely brillant. Its strong and looks great. My kids love it. The shelves really make it extra special for my children. I like the fact wires cant come through the shelves for charging etc.. this means that kids wont have electronics near them. We have a solar lights plugged into the light socket for a night light and thats energy efficient and works great next to the bed. The bed is very hard to assemble. It definitely takes 2 people and maybe even a third person so be prepared to put the work in. This will be hard for one person so I recommend getting it assembled by wayfair. We love this bed and so do the kids. It was incredibly hard to assemble with the instructions provided, but we got there in the end. There was also a slat of wood missing, but I didn't know what reference number and name it was to request another. And, there was an issue with the finish on one of the drawers.
