While I noticed a strong, unusual odor upon unboxing that clung to the pieces, the final product feels solid and high-quality. Assembly was a bit of a challenge; the instructions were unclear in sections, and the process took over four hours to complete. Visually, the dresser is beautiful, and its versatile design complements my bedroom decor perfectly. However, there are some functional drawbacks. I wish the six drawers were deeper to accommodate more clothing, and the 'push-to-open' mechanism is inconsistent, often making it a hassle to access my items. Dresser capacity is larger than anticipated. Drawers pull out smoothly and i am surprised how much i liked the handles. The assembly was simple to follow. The pieces were all labeled clearly (even the screws), so there was no question on what each step includes. Assembly did take a few hours but not due to frustration. It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put together, and there were a couple parts that were difficult because of the angle of the drill holes, but other than that, it went together really easily. The drawers feel smooth, and I like the leather accents on the handles. The drawers are a little smaller than I was expecting but for a decorative dresser I think this is just fine. good quick delivery. packing okay, the plastic strip for the back boards broken into lots of bits, due to two back drawers section allowed to slide in box, plastic strip in-between. found it easier to pre drill draw holes as screwheads are easy to strip. anyhow still it finished up okay and looks good. I waited 3 months for this piece to come in. I honestly got this as a default because I wanted another dresser that was sold out but when I tell you that this piece is beautiful! Wow!! When I started constructing this piece of furniture I noted that there were a couple of chips in the veneer. I was unhappy with this but decided I didn't think they were unsightly enough to warrant returning the whole piece of furniture. I complained through Wayfair and Birlea who produce the item responded very quickly and professionally. I discussed with them what I felt a reasonable fair resolution would would be and they agreed immediately without argument. I feel the level of customer service was very good (particularly compared to recent experiences I've had with other furniture retailers such as Sofology), and I would happily buy other products from them in future.
