Vertical Wall Single Bed

Overall happy with the purchase, looks great and is extremely practical for having a n extra bed in a small space. One thing I would be wary of is that it’s quite tricky to assemble and you need to make sure you are able to attach well to a wall (at the very least to the studs). The instructions for assembly aren’t very clear when it comes to installing the mechanisms and springs. Also the delivery wasn’t great - the company delivered later than the expected date and refused to bring the boxes up one flight of stairs in the apartment building. I appreciate the current COVID restrictions, however leaving it in the hallway on the first floor is not much different to leaving it in the hallway on the ground floor w.r.t entering the building. Items were very heavy and needed more than one person to move.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 30 2020

Treat your guests, the Buxton bed has a beautifully crafted framework that conceals a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. The pull-out trundle features castors for ease of use and can be used in either the flat or upright position. Sprung slatted bases give natural bounce, adjusting to where most pressure is exerted and providing greater comfort. The maximum mattress height to be used for this frame and trundle is 160 mm. The maximum load baring for the Buxton bed is 120kg. Please note: Birlea beds are only suitable for a UK standard size mattress.

These mattresses (I got 2) are perfect for my new day bed. The one on the trundle is a little bit too big now that it’s been out of the packaging for a couple of days but still works, I just have to squeeze it down a bit to pull it out but I’d rather my guests have a comfier sleep than go for a thinner mattress.. Andrea. Angus, Scotland. Mon Sep 21 2026

Add easy storage to even the most compact of kids' rooms with this standard bed, featuring a step-up design and plenty of under-bed storage for clean-up time.

The single cabin bed's rustic-inspired design features a sturdy solid wood build, an antique wax finish, and a Black drop ring pull handle. Three integrated drawers provide valuable storage space for clothing, bed linen, and more, while the included bed slats look after mattress life and ensure you'll sleep soundly through the night.

Really sturdy, with lots of storage room. You can easily fit a winter duvet into the draw, it's really roomy. Exactly what I was looking for my growing son. Quite easy to put together, all the screws and other things were labelled very well and the instruction was well read. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars it's the little chip we have in the wood just between the draws, it's quite visible unfortunately, however doesn't affect the functionality in any way.. Kinga. Love this bed frame, over the years we've had one in king and two in double sizes. Super sleek looking, the metal is great as our cat cannot scratch and ruin it, it's sturdy and easy to assemble. Out of the three one is quite squeaky and we can't figure out why, but the other two are not at all. Overall very pleased.. Iva. Liverpool, GB. Fri Jul 24 2026

Available in a choice of colors to suit your existing décor, this high sleeper bed is ideal for older children or teenagers. Parents will love the integrated storage, offering functional space for clothing, toys, games, and more. Guardrails and a sturdy ladder ensure your child sleeps soundly through the night.

I was really nervous after I’d seen the reviews but the delivery men couldn’t have been nicer, they took the packages to the room I asked them to, and yes it was a pain to put together, but betweeen my husband and I we did it in a few days. One star missing because one of the steps broke when my husband climbed them to finish the slats on the bed and he hadn’t put the fronts on the stairs to secure them beforehand.. Anonymous. Convenient for a spare room or little room. Love this for my little boy who likes a lower bed but sofa for his room. Anonymous. Thu Oct 08 2026

Happy with the finished product although construction is not for the faint-hearted. It says it requires three people to assemble it however I managed 95% of it on my own and with a bit of planning, a second person is useful when it comes to manouvering the two halves around the room. I managed to construct the double bed version entirely in a room which is only 13ft by 8ft. The hardest part is following the instructions, they are not particularly clear in places and the "magnified" bits could do with being 2x larger. One step is particularly baffling where it expects you to screw a large nut in at either side but doesn't explain that you do it from the opposite side (well I did anyway because it was impossible to do it any other way). Some of the wooden holes didn't line up perfectly with the metal frame so I had to enlarge them slightly with a drill. Also some of the screws are already screwed into the pieces rather than being in the bags so you can be hunting around for things which are hiding in plain sight. Once constructed and in place the bed feels solid, the mechanism works well, in fact the springs are so powerful that until you get the bed flat it feels like it would catapult shut if you get go of it! The straps which hold the mattress in place seem like a bit of an afterthought, there are no pre-drilled holes to fix them in place and you just basically screw them to the wood, it'd look nicer using steel screw cup washers.. With European stylistic elegance design and matte painted finish, this metal daybed frame has an elegant look of refined craftsmanship. The metal daybed frame also provides spacious under-bed storage space and keeps it firm to ensure a sweet night's sleep. The bed size is to the point that easy to match any kind of mattress. The metal daybed can be used in two ways, as a sofa and a single bed, which is suitable for all seasons.

A really nice day bed for the price. Doesn't make any noise. Takes a standard single mattress. Comes with all the tools you need. I made a mistake with the 2 silver metal pieces in the middle...They go inside the frame, not on the outside. It was pretty easy to put together other than this!. Karen. Huntingdon, GB.
