The piece of furniture in itself is really nice. However, I do advise everyone to check it for flaws before putting together as we didn't (an error of judgement on our part) and only noticed after putting it together it had a tear in the fabric. Also the fitting to attach the gas spring on the lid was at a ninety degree angle. The fitting was fortunately able to be fixed. Maybe better packaging would have helped. Perfect for a stylish family home, we chose Espresso colour which is actually like a dark purple but really nice. We have Grey Oak paint from Neptune on the walls and they go really well together. Definitely recommend ordering a couple of fabric swatches to check colour. It’s quite big which is good as serves as footrest and table. Planning to put a tray on it to pretty up when not in use. There’s a couple of loose threads so the finish is 100perfect I didn’t realise the feet had a decoration carved on them, i thought it was just plain wood. otherwise I’d have gone for 5 stars.
