I did my research before buying this. Armed with a screw driver and a spanner, I was able to put this together with ease unlike some of the reviews. I wanted to create some sort of border between the side walk and my front garden. I dug a little into the ground to try to make it a bit more level as the garden is sloped and am please with hope it has worked out. I am going to have to buy another one to complete the project.. Pots are made from Scandinavian Redwood and it is treated in an oil based preservative. All pots come assembled except raised beds where you need to fix legs. Your pots are supplied with one coat of the 'Taylor Brown' oil based preservative. To help protect and extend the life of your planter we strongly recommend for you to apply another coat every 6-12 months. Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.
