Great item, good quality poles with decent wall thickness and solid galvanising. The awning itself could be a little better, but for the price if it lasts a year, its worth it - new awnings are £20 a pop so great either way. Of course the user guide does state take it down in bad weather, and not designed for all weather - but we all know thats only to cover themselves from warrantee claims for not using logic when it comes to harsh weather.. Just finished assembling this and we love it. I will be honest, the assembly is tough and there are a lot of pieces. It took a couple of days to stain/waterproof the wood - make sure to look inside the main posts as there are quite a few smaller pieces tucked in there. Once you are ready to assemble, ask some friends over. We tried this with just the two of us and it is NOT recommended. We are using this as a carport and it is so much sturdier and attractive than the metals ones we purchased in the past. If we wanted to use it as a gazebo later on, simply move out the vehicles. Very happy with this gazebo!  We received it in winter and finally put it up in time for Father’s Day. It took two of us about 10 hours to complete it. The instructions were quite clear. They included some extra hardware, always nice. Very clever, clean design. No heavy lifting. You just need to be patient. Although you could use their wrench and Allen key to asssmble the gazebo, I expect that would take much longer than it did. I recommend 2 sockets sets and a power drill with hex and Allen bits.. The carport was better than expected and delivery went smooth. Put it together with no issues and plenty of parts. There were a couple of poles that had some small dents in them but they're against the garage so you can't see them.
