I've wanted a stair basket for such a long time and this is a very nicely made one which is also good value. No more juggling umpteen items in my arms to do one trip upstairs (or down) - now I just keep the basket on the bottom step of my staircase and pop things in it until I need to go upstairs and take it (and all its contents) with me. While the basket looks attractive, I have been very disappointed with its quality. It sheds a significant amount of material, leaving debris wherever it is placed. Even with minimal use, small pieces continually break off, creating a mess and making it unsuitable for practical storage.
