From ordering to delivery was a very easy process and received very quickly. The Box was received very well packaged with no chance of any damage ie corners well protected and three lots of packaging with the outer layer being a heavy duty cardboard box. Very pleased with this item as it met my requirements as it is well made and of good quality. Slight niggle on my part the handle staples on the inside of the box need to be covered as they are sharp but I will tape them myself. Also the base of the box is thinner plywood and so not acacia and not as strong or secure as the rest of the box. However, overall a very good product that is fit for my purpose but feel a little expensive with all things considered hence four star rating.. Anonymous. Tue Mar 05 2024

This simple wooden box is made from mango wood, an incredibly sustainable wood, and finished with antiqued white paint to give it a lovely vintage feel. The lid is hinged and inside the box is unlined. It makes a perfect box for jewelry, stationery, or treasure! These boxes have been hand-carved by skilled artisans working for an inspirational fair trade organization in northern India. Due to the handmade nature of these products, they may slightly vary but loveliness comes as standard. All their mango wood products are hand-carved by WFTO-accredited producers in India. They are made entirely by hand using traditional skills handed down from generation to generation. Mango trees have an extremely long life but eventually do stop bearing fruit and are replaced by younger trees. As India produces, by far, the most mangos in the world this results in a massive industry using one of the most sustainable woods known to man.
