This swing is a disgrace. It is literally strips of wood. No chains or screws came with the order. I paid a handyman to come and put together as I live on my own. This cost me money and what a waste of time! The delivery was a fiasco, and the 2 delivery men didn’t even ring my door then just left this huge box propped up against my wall! How dare they! Exactly as can see in the photo. Exceptionally well made, packaged with all nuts and bolts clearly marked for each section. Fast shipping. Building does take time. I’m a contractor and it took me 7 hour to complete alone. The directions were straight forward. It would be a challenge for someone who isn’t mechanically inclined. Furthermore, having your own tools cuts down the installation time, but having the required tools is pretty deep if you’re just a homeowner. I recommend this set. Once completed it looks great. LOOKS: Perfect. Nice Earthy Greyish Green Color which matches with the lawn. ASSEMBLY: Easy. My husband and My son worked on it and it took them 40 minutes in all. I had to help for 5-10 minutes when the 2 sides were erected and the cross bar had to be fitted across the two sides. ( So that step for sure needs 3 persons... ) ( Unless one is superstrong !! WEIGHT: Solid 36 Kilos and seems very ROBUS and RIGID. Will not fly off or topple even in a strong wind. PARTS: ====== Were very well labelled and numbered. Hence the assembly was easy. All the nuts and bolts came with Washers and also a rubber/plastic cap so it looks nice and the nut will not rust. CANOPY: ======= Was easy to fit. My Husband and Son were of the view that the swing looks better without the canopy and not using the canopy will mean, you will get more sunlight on the lawn. However, I decided to fix the canopy as well. PICTURES: ========= Attached PACKAGING ========= Very well packaged in plastic sheets, bubble wrap and nice cardboard box. Delivered very soon as well. I ordered this and recieved a Charles bently swing. It's not the sturdiest swing and despite all bolts being tight moves from side to side. The canapy fittings will not last 5 mins cheap plastic. The canapy bars don't stay together. The seat had two saggy bits where people have sat and we've only used for a couple of days. I would not sit 3 people on it. The seat cushion is thin the bar digs into your thighs. My last swing was in my garden nearly 11 yrs and only got rid because two seats went. Think I will be lucky if this lasts 2.. Maureen.
