I have purchased size 80x180 cm of Stearns bed for my 2.5 year old daughter. Her room is on the smaller side and it fits the room perfectly. It was easy to assemle and the instructions were brief and clear. I really like the bare timber finish. If only it came in oak... The estimated delivery was showing 6-8 weeks but it arrived way earlier in 2 weeks. One thing that stands out in this bed is that there are 2 horizontal pieces at the top which leaves the front open. The house set does not include any roofing materials but shingles and roofing felt can be purchased extra. If you prefer a model with a similar layout but with a modern flat roof, we recommend a slightly larger Orkney as an alternative to the Brighton 44.

The timber is all high grade, FSC certified and supplied in a honey brown timber basecoat ready for you to apply your topcoat; once you've agreed on a color! The playhouse is clad in 12mm shiplap boards on sturdy 34mm square framing with a T&G floor and OSB roof. There is a large, fixed joinery-made window fitted with plastic safety glazing. All fixings and roof felt are provided along with assembly instructions. With regular wood preservatives, this den will last for many years. The dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy).
