First off it was a lot smaller than I wished but I may have missed the liquid volume in the description. I was very disappointed by the flimsiness of the construction. Third use as I poured in hot water the glass bowl cracked. As a lab tech for 40years I can recognise a heat crack when I see it. Overall a waste of money
