Belfry Kitchen Desarae 26 cm Non-Stick Carbon Steel Wok with Lid

Manufactured from 1.2mm carbon steel with a PFOA free non stick coating. Carbon Steel heats up quicker than stainless steel and aluminium while also being relatively light to allow easy turning of the food. Traditionally Woks are uncoated. They are simply seasoned with a little oil before their use and thereafter periodically. The advantage of being uncoated is that higher temperatures can be reached which are in turn transferred directly to the food. The design of a Non-Stick wok with its deep sides make it a versatile piece of cookware, useful for sauteing and steaming, as well as authentic oriental stir fries.Cleaning: Hand wash in warm soapy water and dry immediately after washing either by draining or the use fo a tea towel.
