Although these canister's look really good there was an advisory note inside to buy inserts(would love to know where to buy them from♀️) & then I read a review stating that the wood was porous & may swell from the moisture in the kitchen & may benefit from varnishing so I might do that but it's a lot of "faff" to apply when the "stoneware" canister's weren't exactly cheap!
