I recently purchased what was advertised as a high-quality bone china set from Wayfair, and I must express my profound disappointment with what I received. Contrary to the product description and images on the website, the china set I received is far from the promised standard. Firstly, the colour of the china is not the pristine white that was advertised, but rather a dull, yellowish hue. This immediately detracts from the elegance that one would expect from bone china. The overall appearance is unappealing and certainly not what I envisioned for my dinner table. Secondly, the quality of the material is alarmingly low. It feels cheap, akin to something one might find at a market stall for a fraction of the price I paid. This is not the standard one expects when ordering from a reputable site like Wayfair, especially given the price point. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and feel misled by the product description. The quality does not match the cost, and it certainly does not meet the standards of bone china. I regret my decision to purchase this item and would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their china needs. It's disheartening to receive a product that so drastically falls short of expectations, and I hope this review helps others avoid a similar experience.
